Do you already have a residence and work permit?

If you hold a valid residence and work permit, setting up your own business is relatively straightforward. You can register your company online via www.virk.dk.

Do you require a permit?

If you intend to start a business in Denmark while living abroad and are not a citizen of a Nordic country, the EU/EEA, or Switzerland, you will need to apply for a permit. Further information is available online.
