EURES

EURES is a European cooperation network between the European Commission, the European Labour Authority (ELA), the national public and other admitted employment services in all the EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.

Jobnet

Jobnet is created by the Danish Agency for Labour Market and Recruitment and is a website for jobseekers and employers in Denmark. Jobnet allows you to search for a job among many thousands of vacant positions.

Starting a business

If you wish to start a business in Denmark, there are certain regulations that you must comply with.

Do you already have a residence and work permit?

If you hold a valid residence and work permit, setting up your own business is relatively straightforward. You can register your company online via www.virk.dk.

Do you require a permit?

If you intend to start a business in Denmark while living abroad and are not a citizen of a Nordic country, the EU/EEA, or Switzerland, you will need to apply for a permit. Further information is available online.
